Individual & Couples Counselling
Counselling is a talking therapy. Any person can avail of the opportunity to attend to emotional or psychological problems in a supportive and confidential therapeutic environment.
Our counsellors help clients to address mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, current and/or historical abuse/trauma, family issues, loss, transition, complicated grief, and more.
Drop In Listening Service
On Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. we offer a confidential drop-in listening service. These sessions do not require an appointment and are one to one in the privacy of a counselling room.
The Listening Service is donation based.
"Braveheart" Emotional Intelligence
Braveheart is an emotional intelligence programme which Knock Counselling Centre runs for Transition Year Students.
Students learn how to understand, use, and manage their own emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathise with others, overcome challenges and defuse conflict
Workshops & Online Seminars
Knock Counselling Centre offers a range of face to face workshops and online seminars, in areas such as parenting, wellness and mindfulness.

Adolescent Counselling
We provide a range of therapeutic services for adolescents including counselling for a range of issues including anxiety, depression, difficulties in relationships at home, in school or between peers.
We support the young person to work through whatever issues they are experiencing and to find relief from the distress and to live more satisfying lives.
Anger Management
Temper Your Anger is ran in conjunction with the Irish Association of Anger Management (IaAM).
This programme is open to adults and adolescents who wish to explore, understand and identify the roots of their anger, express it safely and learn the necessary tools to manage difficult emotions effectively.
"Cool Kids" Anxiety Reduction
Cool Kids is an evidence-based anxiety reduction programme for children and adolescents aged 7 to 17 years and their parents. The programme uses a cognitive behavioural approach which focuses on teaching skills to manage anxiety better.
This programme is offered in both group and individual settings.
Clinical Supervision
We offer a number of professional services to qualified and training Psychotherapists.

Play Therapy
Are you worried about your child? A new Play Therapy service is now available at Knock Counselling Centre. Play Therapy is an excellent therapeutic response to younger and some older children/adolescents, who experience emotional or psychological distress.
